I hate British UK gaming tax It's $200! But yeh thought it would be much closer in price to the elite. Needs to have some massive bells and whistle......which to be honest I don't see at the moment. And with Elite 1s being less than a third of the price feel Sony have potentially missed their mark, needs to do what Scuffs do and more at that price. Look forward to some more hands on.
Hope you get a PS5 with that controller.

Thats it - it dawned on me later that's 1/2 the price of a PS5 with a standard very good controller already......

Not seen Elite, would it be just as effective?
PSVR2 probably going to be more than a console at this rate.
I know the GBP dropped for a little while there, but $199 to £210!! Appreciate you also have to consider taxes, but that is an absurdity.
If it was £100 or so, I’d probably pick it up, but no chance at that price. I have no mind to change the sticks; the developers themselves do a pretty decent job at augmenting the pressure of the triggers; and I’m sceptical as to how much I’d use the back buttons (though, I was playing Returnal the other day and thought it would benefit from them).
I care so much more about the fundamental offerings of a controller than its customisation abilities. If they said that the haptic feedback is thrice as good or it had totally new, better triggers, I’d be way more inclined.
Yeh honestly Rooney - the biggest problem with all this is Sony themselves, cos there is no way that this controller is 4 times better than arguably the best PS5 controller pound for pound on the system...... their standard ps5 controller that quite frankly is one of the best controllers you can buy!
Agreed, Simon. The standard dualsense is awesome and certainly the best controller I've ever used.
I've never really been one for elite controllers and/or customisation, but I can see how it would be appealing if it genuinely improved the gameplay experience
I think it is aimed more at the competitive gamer. The average gamer will be quite happy with the normal controller.
