On Rashford, it's kinda half bad finishing, half Lloris was top today. Another day he might have got 2 or 3 tbh. Definitely should have been better, but I don't fault his performance too much tbh, he ran their defence ragged

Yeah I’d agree with that. I do think one of his problems is the mental side, though. I don’t think he relishes having to be the main man in attack. He’s a secondary player to a more reliable forward.

Overall brilliant performance. Thought we were excellent first half even without the goals.

How tall is Martinez guys? No one has mentioned it for weeks now.

Fred makes sense if Eriksen isn’t ready yet.

He should be sharper than the other day as he usually needs games to get up to speed, prefer McT but he’s barely played next to Casemiro before so maybe not the time to try it vs Spurs.

Anyway, enjoy the match thread and play nicely with each other!

Spot on Mike. Fred was excellent tonight. He’s capable of putting in displays like that. The trouble is he could come out on Saturday and barely resemble a footballer.

Atmosphere was fckin class tonight.

What a performance too, Spurs were shiyte but we really did a number on them. Not sure how it came across on TV but the whole team was moving as a unit across the field and they had zero out ball, it was like we had an extra man, was great to watch for once.

Shame we only won 2-0 but I’ve not felt as relaxed watching us near the end of a game in a long time.

Spurs XG would have been 0.24 without offside shot counting.
