White has the potential to be real premiership class. His pace alone is up there with the Nedum Onouha`s of this world (ok maybe not Nedum) But defitnately could be up there with Walcott in a few years. He is definately better off playeing at left back at this stage in his career, Why? because if he nails his defensive game early on, the as he gets his "man strength" he can play further up the field as a defensive winger who can win the ball high up the pitch.
Funniest story of the day, why would a player playing regularly leave for a smaller club a few points above us at present, club need to act and tie him up like they did Lees, they are the future of our Defence.

Aza, either because Leeds could get money for him (let's say 1 mill when Pugh costs 500k for example), or because he isn't happy at the club.
Not saying either of these are the case, but there are always reasons.

If white leaves it's cos he can see ambition away from Leeds, also to improve his own football skills.
Make mine a 'DOUBLE', smaller club my backside and you dirties are up yours, stop living in the past and get use to the championship cause your gonna be here for a long long time.

Igor you stooped, humped back eejot, go away
Doc, let's not focus on Igor's good points.
That may be so, but your mrs loved my big c@ck, don't like the decor in your house though doc.
Jonty, does your sister play a bit of football?
Because she fairly likes a hard tackle, nice!
Igor, I don't have a sister, but if I did, she would probably wonder if the reason folk from the Greater Mansfield vicinity came up with such crappy one liners was because they'd been let down by the schooling system there.
Not even close jonty, and you did giggle.
Only in as much as the fact that you are lrather aughable.
Igor, not even close on any count knoob. Not married and actually live on a council caravan site near to you. So shut the fook up or expect to see my transit down your street, where you can expect to be bundled up and locked in my dog kennel and earning your keep laying some tarmac for me, for a few years whilst I pick up your social, allowing my grandmother to live in your house and teaching your kids to sell roses and pegs
Spelling now jonty, people in glass houses and all that.
Where did anyone pick you up on your spelling?
Not something I ever do as typos are common place in this busy world, unlike intelligence in your neck of the woods it would appear.
PS Have left a typo in again to keep you happy.
Schooling system, tut tut, do you have a ghost writer, not read or write your own posts.
Doc........funny
.......not
!
Absolutely spot on, LIW.
I said at the start of last season that because we were too good for a relegation battle, and there was no pressure for us to get promoted, it was the perfect time to put White in and let him develop. If that had happened we may even have got promoted.
Sometimes you see potential in a player as a fan, then they finally get a run and you understand why the manager was ignoring them. With Grayson, the players he ignores always come into the side and are every bit as good as you expected them to be.
How can you have trust and faith in a manager like that?
He's said White is not a left-back, despite only ever starting him at left-back for the first team, sent him out on loan to play as a winger, spent pre-season playing Ben Parker and trialists at left-back, then started the season with Darren O'Dea, a hoofball centre-half, at left-back.
Now White is in the team because Grayson was forced to play him, and he looks to have the potential to be the best left back we've had for 15 years.
How can a professional football manager have such poor planning and judgement?
The Aidy White situation illustrates perfectly why I think Grayson is the worst manager of all time. I'm fully aware of how much a ridiculous exaggeration it sounds, but there's no justification for the way he's handled Aidy White and the left-back situation.
Why wasn't Aidy White played when we were in League One?
He has been great so far this season, and he provides a bit of pace to our slow defence. He bombs up and down the flanks, and gets stuck in to tackles, has been winning headers against some massive wingers and has been really impressive.
His positioning etc. will improve given time. But we seemed to think that a, lets be honest, player who was a poor CM in Andy Hughes was a better option at leftback for 2 years, than Aidy White. He could have had atleast 2 seasons under his belt and would be a much better player now, had he been used correctly.
We were told white had nervous cramps. I never noticed it when he played and have never heard of any other players suffering from it.
Perhaps there ought to be a segment in every programme advising 'certain fans' of every players medical condition at every moment of their development!
I would personally favour this to be in bright red ink and full of spolling mistukes so that 'certain fans' can read it.
I think it would catch on.
