The other one is doing a good job at Ipswich.
Be interesting to see how both of them pan out.
Gibson has always backed his managers, yet there were apparent problems between him and Wilder due to lack of signings

Hope he becomes Man Utd manager again one day. Good luck.
Seems like a good fit, always liked Carrick as a player ever since his WH days, you could tell he was a smart player with a football brain even back then and its no surprise he went for the coaching route. Hopefully he can be a success at ‘Boro
Boro are quite dire, so he has his work cut out.
Hopefully we can send some youngsters there on loan to get some game time. Though I’m not sure I’d want them being coached by Mike Phelan.
dont bet against United getting Boro in the 3rd round of the FA Cup now. It's how it usually works

This was my thought too. Boring 0-0 draw then out on penalties.
Very interesting appointment.
Lots of people talk very highly of him, but management is a tough old business.
If it’s anything like his playing career, he’ll be tactically brilliant and take Boro back to glory days, but most rival fans will claim he’s overrated.

Mckenna is doing a very good job at Ipswich, with them sitting 2nd in the league. Having taken over near the end of 2021, he's got a reasonably good win percentage (54%) with them.

A couple of my relatives are Tractor boys and they are very happy with the type of football they are playing.
