Yeah a huge huge own goal from Uefa yet again. Trying to maximize TV revenue at the expense of competition.
You can sort of understand it for far eastern Europen teams where the time difference is +3hrs or more but Italy isn't an example of that. It's just greed now running the game.

That ref mistake against Sociedad could well come back and haunt us. He should have been fined heavily for that mistake. How you can give a penalty when the ball hits your leg and then ricochets onto your arm is mind blowing. Even worse that VAR looked and didn't over turn it.

Yeah I don’t mind when it’s in Eastern Europe, it wouldn’t even be so bad if it were teams from the same group.
It’s crap for fans who have to travel to games though, and attendances are usually low.

Yep agree. I always thought the 5pm games were for the ones kicking off in Russia or eastern Europe, but if it's happening in Italy or west of Italy then it's pure money grab
Usually the final games of the groups kick off at the same time so no team has the advantage of knowing other results and adjusting their game plan accordingly. The same approach is used on the final match day of the English leagues which often adds to the intensity all the way to the final whistle of the season.
If you support a PL team they will play 3400+ minutes during a season but sometimes it is the last 5 that matter. If they avoid relegation in those few minutes you feel the same as if they had won the league. If they don't then the dog had better watch out when you get home.
Hector Bellerin is playing like an agent of Bayern. Having an awful evening, if anyone is watching.
Barca look pretty abject though Dembele looks brilliant.
