Only one Scottish team has won a game after hearing the CL music this season.
We’ve been embarrassing in a solid group, Celtic lacking at key moments but not been embarrassed.
What does the coefficient points this season say? I would guess we have more than them as usual.

That’s says we’ve no qualification points though?
On further reading we have earned 6.5 points this season but qualification points go towards nation coefficient.
We welcome the chase.

So your 2.5 points earned in qualification when divided by 5 qualifying teams as the country contribution actually gives you 0.5 of a point. And gives us 0.5 of a point too so cheers for that. Add to our points - we welcome the chase <whistke>

Indeed. It was an important error and should have been corrected.
What do people make of the talk of Celtic and Rangers joining a super league with the big boys. Would people be against it like last time or happy to join? I see its going through court at the moment so unsure if they are fighting to keep league status too? i'd happily join it

I would like to see the new league with Celtic and Rangers in it. It would be two fingers to EUFA and to the blazers in the SFA 👍

The money involved would be incredible! If it does grow ledges then i wouldn't have an issue with it. Would prefer to keep our league status and filter down a % of revenue back into Scottish football.
Absolute fantasist nonsense.
Anything where you see Celtic and Rangers mindlessly lumped together like this is usually garbage.
It is most likely goign to be nonsense but just wanted people's views on it, would they like their club to take up the offer should it ever happen?

I disagree with the first bit. The whole concept of the SL came about because money men can see the game is not being leveraged to its maximum. Population Europe ~750. Population big 5 countries 309m so more than half disenfranchised from big money football even before you hear that outside of England the other 4 believe they are already disenfranchised!
Then there's the marketing, sponsorship, rights etc. that don't come close to matching US sports multiples. Now the US is a special case and I don't think Europe has the disposable income or culture to fund those multiples but there's undoubtedly more to be harvested and every middle man wants a cut.
Conceivably, a SL without English teams would suit a lot of associations down to the ground. That said, any distributions based on perceived audience numbers in order to maintain the old order will not wash.
Just imho.
Good points made Silver.
When pointing out the population figures it does make sense to explore other avenues. As you say, equal splits for all, not just for audience numbers. Keeping out the EPL would make that an easier deal to make, I beleive.
Yeah it could be setup to offer bizarre fixturing like NFC/AFC
To continue the egalitarianism of the US approach diddy teams would be offered more money until they had the same riches as Madrid?
