Wow. Not sure what else to say. Emotional read to be fair.
Saw that earlier. Really emotional watch. Top man for opening up.
Excellent player. Even better man.
That was both heartbreaking and inspirational at the same time.
He comes across as a great bloke and it's lovely to hear how his children helped him get through his father's death.
Probably our next captain, nearly always fit missed 3 games since signing, great bloke with the heart of a lion
Bloody sad that, I live in fear of losing one of my family members before their time.
Nearly every thing is bigger than football, in reality it’s quite irrelevant in the grand scheme, sad read that article, cancer is a real cuuunt.
I can relate , I lost my Mum in January this year , my wife was four months pregnant and my new son Jake is now three month’s old , he has been the reason I still carry on being strong and carrying on every day, if I’m feeling down a smile from him picks me back up.
Unfortunately it happens to hundreds of people every day. The most frustrating thing is that you cannot do anything about it. If someone insulted or assaulted your wife you could take the usual action, but you cannot beat the c**p out of an invisible enemy. It can leave you feeling useless. All you can do is just be there for her and try to be strong. You can lie to her and tell her everything will be OK and she will get through it with the chemo and radiotherapy but she knows you are lying, as a wife always does.
Next time you see a Cancer Research charity box chuck a few coins in.

This hits hard. My first born had the same effect on me at a very trying stage of my life. I remember you posting originally about your mum and it hit me in the feels then. I'm glad to read you're getting through things. The old girl will be looking down on you with immense pride mate

So hard losing a parent so young. Always thought Hjojberg was a player of great character. That article just further heightens that opinion.
