I expect us to crumble in Marseille, that`s what being a long time Spurs fan does to you.
Busby...
Spurs don’t look great?
Did you see the game today or the second half on Wednesday? Or the game against Frankfurt?
I’m guessing no and you are just regurgitating the same thing all rival fans keep saying match after match without actually watching Spurs.

Spurs do seem to get bad reviews all the time. Not a mention in the last week about these results from the media.
Forest v Liverpool 1-0
Southampton v Arsenal 1-1
PSV v Arsenal 2-0
Brighton v Chelsea 4-1
Spurs it seems are the only club that ever gets poor results according to opposition supporters and the media.
Sandy..
I don’t mind the stick we get re our defensive style when that stick is justified. However when today a rival fan talks about us not looking great it proves that person didn’t see the game.
Our defence is like a wheel barrow with a dodgy left wheel, can’t do the job properly when one is all over the place

He obviously didn't watch the game. Spurs absolutely bossed the match, and deserved to win.

The problem Sandy is that Conte’s tactics reply on having three good centre backs that can defend and play out for the back which we don’t have. We probably have the best attacking players in the league ( apart from City and maybe Liverpool) but Conte does not have his teams press or attack teams.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well that is my point, Spurs need to go out and buy two top quality CBs, they won`t come cheap, but it would make a world of difference. That and a top quality attacking midfielder to go alongside Bentancur. I am sure Conte knows the problem, but he can only do so much each window that comes along. It will take three or four windows to get the squad that he wants.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They gave Ben Davies a new contract and are looking (reportedly) to do the same for Dier ffs
I wouldn’t even be surprised if they did the same for Sanchez
Need to start selling these players
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Didn’t Davies score today?
Paper and cracks springs to mind . Always great to come back from a 2 goal deficit. But we really are not a great side .
We got lucky with the 2nd and 3rd goals today. This really can’t go on taking at least 45 mins to start showing what we can do .
Make no mistake we perform like this and as we have for most of the season in the 1st half of games we wo t come away from France as champions league qualifiers
"At least today has ended the three or four game winless run, but obviously Marseille is a completely different kettle of fish, and as much as I would like Spurs to progress, I think we are in all probability now looking at Thursday night football, which is probably were Spurs are at right now."
*****************
Marseille's last three results have been losses to Lens and Franfurt(!!) and a draw at Strasbourg.
Less convincing than Spurs last three results.
They lost to us at WHL 2-0.
And they have lost to Frankfurt both times.
However they have beaten Sporting both times.
So I expect a pretty good match and Tottenham to come away with at least a point.

Careful Sandy, you can't call out the media on here. You know that.
Although you know what, fack it, I will keep calling them out.
Prime example was last night's Liverpool game. Sorry but am I the only one who can only see a constant free pass given to them by the likes of Sky ?
They have just lost to Leeds and Forest, sit joint 10th in the league and are currently 10 points behind that media rubbished team Spurs. Yet all I hear are positive strokes from the media, with "not quite there" or "a bit off" being thrust at us viewers.
If Carraghar tells us they have dominated football "for the last 5 years" once more, I will scream. Facking hell, that in itself isn't even accurate. Five years ago they finished 4th, BEHIND Spurs, and four years ago they also finished 4th, BEHIND Spurs.
Yet every time Spurs lose a game, the very same people giving Liverpool a free pass, swoop like vultures all over Spurs. Chris, they still do it when we win. Listening to their constant criticism, you would never guess we were third, just 3 points behind the best team in Europe.
Yet, even after last nights sh*t show, Liverpool remain "the media darlings" and "The public's second favorite national treasure of football" who can do no wrong.
With Spurs constantly cast as the pantomime villain.
Sanchez had an absolute mare yesterday… & Royal wasn’t much better…
Conte must be tearing his new hair out, with those two…
No wonder we need 2/3 more transfer windows , to sort this mess out
