It’s amazing how we were in a title race for so long with this defence really.

Forwards have taken a lot of flack lately but they are the reason we are third.

He’s been our best player

Endo isnt anywhere near good enough.

Feels like the players have given up, klopp off titles gone...CL pretty much done, holiday time...

At least Diaz is putting in a shift again.
His end product isn’t good enough but he’s key to everything we do well. Important we keep him in the summer.

Can anyone even remember the last time we kept a clean sheet in a pl game?

We’ve been terrible in both boxes for about a month. They’ve just to play themselves into form but I still feel there is a lack of intensity and tempo.

There’s really not much leadership on the pitch from what I can see. Someone stepping up and grabbing the game. I don’t give a sh!t whether that’s a defender winning strong tackles, midfielders making brave passes or forwards beating their man, but they need to show some bottle.

Went out shopping. Not missing much then

I kept saying we needed as much physicality at the back and midfield to combat this teams like West Ham. Arteta understood this and fix it with 4 CBs and two physical DMS. We improved a bit out of possession when we had Gomez on the left but reverted back to 2 traditional fullbacks who can't defend.

Yeah..we lost like 1 in 42 up to a month ago, now it's a catalogue of conceding poor goals and no fight in the team, loss after loss....desire has completely gone!

You do not have to plate well to score against us. You don’t even need to create a chance because we will gift you one!!!

Ever since we lost in the fa cup it's like they've just given up on the season, and now there's nothing to play for even moreso.

You'd think they'd be wanting to play themselves into Slot's good graces before he arrives.

Why is it that our defence always seem to have at least half a dozen moments every match where our players just completely switch off? Rarely see it from the opposition. This is just the basics of defending.

Robertson not paying attention, playing two of their players onside when everyone else had stepped up, allowing Bowen and Kudus to run in behind just another perfect example.

So easy to get in behind this defence it’s ridiculous.

complacency, especially on the ball and complacency and not switched on when we lose it defensively. we've not been too bad that half though didnt see the goal but overall been better just toothless.

And nothing to do with nunez diaz and mo been tragic in front of goal? Id agree over last 2 games theyve thrown towel in. Id put that down to being mentally fried trying to keep at 115 citys level

Hopefully Slot has seen enough of this team and knows where to strengthen the team. He needs to be aware this isn't the Dutch league where every team wants to play fluid positional passing football. Set piece is a huge weapon in this league.
