some of the round the corner one touch stuff is lovely, proper opens teams up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
when the balls play to someones feet and they just dink it round the corner to the player who played the pass whos made a run beyond for the 1-2. that stuffs lethal.
why have all our players n staff got meat head version of slot following them around lol ?
Took a while but good second half display
Slot saying we lost too many duals so konate came on to help win the long ball. so no injury/knock atleast.
Interesting from slot..and I like it...quansah came off because he wasn't winning enough duels, wanted more aggression.
I like a coach that changes something quickly...well done.

----------------------------------------------------------------------Operate in the same areas really so its not that unusual position for him, just a question if hes got the defensive side in him. Hes definittely got some advantages for it with his build etc. Defensive tenacity and awareness/intelligence and if hes up for the role really.

In this league you need to dominate physically before you can play football. Slot realised this with the Konate substitution. He will learn more during the season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It seems Slot had the same conclusion as me.
Arne Slot: “I said (at half time), there is no need to speak about tactics if you lose so many duels.” (TNT)

I think he, and Mac could do the job better with an actual defensive player sat next to them.

Very good management. Dare I say it that Klopp would have continued with same team even if it was not working.

Early door, but I really, really liked the way Slot managed this game. It was a good win, but you feel there is plenty more to come too. We’ll have tougher tests but it’s a great start (only the second LFC manager to win their first PL game), got some minutes into the lads who missed most of preseason and…. no injuries
