Draw probably fair result even though we were the better team as we didn't cause them enough problems, finding it difficult to break through their four centre backs and two defensive midfielders.

Arteta is awful. Can't believe he sat back with best 2 defenders off. Our attacking was pizz poor, Gakpo did nothing and Diaz was just getting some joy before being hooked. Anyway this is probably our 2nd hardest game on paper so draw is fine. Konate excellent all game

You can't play Mac Allister and Jones without a physical player like Szoboslai. The first thing you do is winning your battles before you play football.

Felt that could be an issue at start of game

I think it’s important to beat the dross and not lose against your rivals. Very good point, even with all their “injuries.”

Arteta reverted to type in the second half. They should have gone for the throat but bottled it

Tsimikas did a better job defensively than Robertson. Their only danger came from Saka.We need a LCB next summer who can nullify those dangerous right wingers.

Thought Konate was easily our best player

They should start with their manager who plays like sam.alladyce even after spending 700 mil

Konate was back to his old ways. Bailing Trent out on numerous occasions. Trent didn’t look fit today. Was pretty horrendous.

I'd go:-

Kelleher 6 - distribution wasn't as good as normal
TAA 5 - passing wasn't great and although difficult due to them having four centre backs and two defensive midfielders sitting in, he has to do better
Konate - 8 MOTM. Not sure what happened with their penalty shout be looked a penalty to me, would need to see it again
VVD - 7. Error in judgement with the Saka goal as he thought Robertson had it covered but excellent the rest of the game and of course a goal
Robertson - 4. His worst game for me. Poor defensively and not much better on the ball
Gravenberch 7 - good game again, kept the ball well, won his challenges and drove forward.
Mac Allister 5 - not great from him today as spent a lot of time vacating midfield and getting wide, also failed to impose himself on the game
Jones 6 - did well at most things but not creative enough when he had the opportunity
Salah 7 - poor first half as he struggled to get on the ball but much better second half. We probably would have been served better with TAA overlapping him this game as so many opportunities to do so
Nunez 7, ran his socks off, pressuring them into mistakes and perfect pass for the assist when normally you would have expected him to get his head down and blast at goal
Diaz 6 - also ran his socks off forcing errors but not doing enough in the final third and first half especially losing the ball when passes were on.

Is it time to have serious conversations about Robbo? He’s been amazing for us and our greatest premier league left back. But we need more there for me. On the ball especially. Lukeba would be the purchase for me.
