I don’t have any great insight but I suspect he’s fallen into the trap that so many managers do - has too much faith in players that have delivered for him in the past. We lost Diaz and Jota to injury so Gakpo sured up the attack. I suspect he thought Fabinho, Henderson, Thiago, Keita etc would turn it around. Too much faith.

Klopp/the club do know we need midfielders. We bid a lot for Tchoumeni which you don’t do unless you acknowledge the need. We apparently also tried to sign Caicedo in the summer. The players you want aren’t always available. Or they choose Madrid

We got bullied, we got out ran and without any intelligence.

What’s galling is that the big players are not impacting the game, not being a positive influence on the youth players.
There’s a lot of things wrong, we probably won’t make Europe with this kind of performance occurring only another 2 times this season.

Gutless performance to be honest.

Deserve to be exactly where we are this season.

Thought the two CMs Brighton have McAlister and the other boy who's name U forget would improve most midfields but cost could be an issue, When Liverpool were flying your defense was solid and the fullbacks killed teams whilst your forwards were murder to play against so the midfield only needed to be solid and structured but work hard, they don't seem to have the legs any more and the defense is having difficulty, it's a transition that might take a bit time and obvs cash but it's doable and I'd certainly give Klopp time

He however does need to really get back to the basics. Get the team passing quickly again. That’s the first thing, and then getting energy back into the team. No nostalgia needed, if you aren’t reaching the miles required you have to be out the team.

Love the bloke, he will be hurting and his loyalty to players needs to be replaced with some ruthlessness.

Not necessarily RITH. Fans have the right to question the manager and ownership when they're not doing the basics.

4-3-3 and the curremt MF personnel are not doing the business and we are shipping goals for fun. The obvious change would be 5-3-2 which would shore up the defence in an instant. Klopp is too naïve/stubborn to do this and it is frustrating the hell out of supporters.

Secondly, and this is the most important thing, FSG are not doing their job, which is providing transfer funds to improve the squad if and when they are needed. As if fans really care about shiny new stands or training grounds when the playing squad is in turmoil.

Boehly, the Sheikh, Abramovich and Newcastle's owners got it spot on. Playing squad first and and foremost. Infrastructure later.
