it's rather telling that they haven't shown a single image with the lines to prove it's offside..

and for the red.. i thought the law was the on-pitch ref had to see the replay in real-time, not allowed to view it slowed down in any way..
the first thing he saw was 10 seconds of a static image at the worst point possible, before any context from the replay..

Feel bad for Jones by the way, probably was a red but he’s very unlucky the way his foot rolls over the ball.
I play myself a fair bit and it happens quite regularly. I think the mitigation might save him but obviously not.

Take with a pinch of salt as don’t know the source but those lines look pretty parallel to the cut of the grass to me.

Really puts me off football. I do not expected to come away with anything today as I don’t think we’ve seen the last of the referee.

I could buy it being offside if they'd drawn the lines, but to not show the lines and then decide he's off in literally seconds is surely gross incompetence or corruption
