This has been really enjoyable for a Merseyside Derby. It's usually much more cagey than The North London, Manchester or Auld Firm games, but this one has been very open.
Think the red card was fair. Also think Tarkowski was fortunate not to pick up two yellows.
Hope the second half is just as entertaining.
We are still passing the ball to Mac Allister when he is surrounded by 4 players from different angles. Play the facking ball to the fullback or the wingers. There is no need for losing the ball in dangerous areas closer to our goal.
Not sure if it's because it's a 12:30 kick off or if the sound quality on TNT Sports is poor, but it hasn't sounded much like a Derby. Probably very different in the ground but it's coming across very subdued on television.
Both Young's yellows are clear yellows. Some people seem to think the second yellow has some sort of different standard to the first.

The two yellows were nailed on. Arguably Tsimikas should have got one as well but Youngs deserved to walk.
The first time an opposition player has received a second yellow against us since Sadio Mane, before he played for us for 6 years.
