Any chance it could be Nunez left and Diaz through the middle? Think it’s a change that would help both personally. Diaz is a better finisher and Nunez is faster.

Good idea, but would be surprised if Klopp did it. Though I’m sure they’ll interchange….

Our pace throughout will be too much for them I believe, plus..really cant emphasize it enough; from the bench, wow.

The likes of Jota, Elliott and Gakpo...its top top quality.

I would have kept Gakpo in team. He had a good game last time and is rewarded by being benched by out of form Diaz.

Any sort of win please. I’ll go 2-0 us but we’ll probably make it difficult and give us lot heart failure

Can’t say Diaz really deserved his place back but hopefully tonight is the night he finds it again.

Livramento is a great player so he has his work cut out though.

Clearly gone all out pace. Also think it’s a little disingenuous to say he’s been ‘benched’ as such. Klopp picks players to suit how he wants to play each game. Barring Salah, none of the forwards are guaranteed starters.

We have a busy January too missing Endo and Mo so he going to have to rotate a little.

Cant believe Gordon is playing, the guy looks knackered to me.

That’s a proper bench. Jota, Mac, Gakpo, Grav, Elliot is very strong.

Newcastle are very Atletico Madrid lite though aren’t they?

You can just imagine their tactics will be 10 behind the ball, slow the game down, go down at the slightest challenge. Bruno is a player I like, but he’s very dirty at times.
