Happens all the time that a former player trys too hard to be 'balanced' and tips the scales the other way.

Pittodrie last year when we were 2-0 down after 20 minutes and andy walker was up in the commentator box above the rangers fans with a big cheeser, we eventully came back and won 3-2 and when the 3rd goal went in all Rangers fans turned round and started singing "Andy andy whats the score andy whats the score" he wasn't happy at all!!

what he says is usually spot on about celtic a bit like champagne charlie, most celtic fans just dont like hearing it but

neil mccann is a very balanced and fair with both the old firm teams

seems like he tries to tell the truth when watching a game not like that clunt burley

oooft burley is a grade 'A' t!t of a man, what he knows about fitba would fill the back of a stamp, don't watch ESPN due to his attempt at punditery

I'd agree with that. If you want to find someone who is bitter about Celtic then look at Craig Burley, any excuse to stick the boot in to us and Scottish football in general. If an EPL game is p!sh then the commentators will never say, Craig lets you know how poor the quality in Scotland is very early, and over and over.

His quote from a game recently. "Kayal is really important to Celtic, when he got injured up at Inverness it really damaged them for the games that followed and they never recovered."

Really Craig? We won every game after ICT, there was nothing more we could do, damage was done.

McCann is the best I've seen - you'd never think he'd been such an important Gers player.

I like Burley's approch to punditry.He doesn't skirt around the edges trying to keep everybody happy like most puppet commentators.He calls it the way he see's it.Sometimes he can come across as a bit of a kant but at least he's honest.

I like Peter Martin.

Totally bonkers, utterly biased, but at least he's passionate about the game.
