we are stuck between needing players Conte trusts to be able to use more of the squad and also needing a younger (at least fresher) squad which he wouldn't trust

I don’t blame Paratici - he is working with a budget that would make a church mouse blush.

His job is basically alchemy

I think Spurs have purchased some decent players. But it is the old school players that are filling up the 1st XI that they cannot get rid of that are causing the problem, especially in the defence.

Persic is not a tick mate wtf. He has assists fair play from good set pieces but I’ve been extremely extremely disappointed.

Furthermore, you have completely ignored the aspect of selling players which he has been absolutely shocking at also. Plus his terrible handling of signing a new manager and then signing Nuno.

40m on kulusevski
25m on bentancur
22m on Royal
60m on richarlison
20m on spence
30m on Udogie
25m on Bissouma

That's not a small budget ffs

In ny opinion we need RWB and 2xCBs

The CB positions are where there are a ton of mistakes, poor decision and poor quality

RWB is obvious to everyone that it needs to be upgraded

The only reason I'm happy to wait a little longer for the forward positions because we have 5 players up there (excluding Lucas as he's just atrocious) when all fit. We've just been unlucky that they've all been facking injured at the same time

Yep once Son, Ricky and Kulu are back up to full fitness we should be better. Add Romero too.

Good article. Titty done alright but needs to pull at the very least a decent CB in January. Two would be amazing.

What do I mean by Alchemy - well Chelsea spent over £100m on Koulibaly and Fofana this summer
