Why? He got sent off for something he said. Which shows that he cannot say it. He then apologised for what he said, which suggests that knows what he said was wrong. He then didn't appeal the ban.

He may have just been sent off for being intimidating. The independent panel clearly didn't think it was bad enough for a ban.
