It will probs change but atm I have zero interest in this WC, distinct lack of buzz about it? Course I will keep an eye out for our players, but yeah just very meh about it.
USA are shiiiite. Worst USA team for about 30 years. Easily

You just dream of Alexis Lalas
I reckon England will stumble out of their group and then get absolutely pumped in the first knockout round.
They're gonna have a proper shiiter of a WC.
Belgium are a masive price for it. Some squad they have.
when you look at brazil and they have neymar, vincius, rodrygo you think, thats pretty good.
richarlson and others though i still think its meh compared to to previous top brazil teams in the past.

USA teams are always greater than the sum of their parts. Play as a team, play for each other, work their socks off. Ditto Japan.
Croatia still very good. Watched them handle France in Paris in Nations league.

Handicapped by having an idiot managing them.
Also not as strong as they were previously, age catching up with them.

Not so sure about having an idiot in charge but agree about the Belgian squad had it's peak. An occassional generation of superstars but out of them only really KDB has maintained the superstardom
Netherlands are the dark horses, not seeing much about them but good versatile squad. Not as volatile a bunch as they usually are either.
Brazil to win it I think, if not Argentina. I don't fancy them much but Messi 1000 game, the final. Could just be written into the simulation.
Hoping to see embarrassing early exits for England and Ronaldo.
Belgiums squad looks rubbish, KdB aside. Aged defence, poor strikers and bang average midfield. Eden Hazard is way past it.

Yeah a lot of them are fading.
The manager I've always found to be totally blinkered.
He's never managed a team and made them well rounded, he always has a glaring weakness.
The last chance to do anything with Belgium's greatest generation and Roberto Martinez is leading them, I would despair if i was a TinTin loving, waffle munching, fine chocolate eating half frog/half clog.
argentina v portugla in the final.
messi to score winning penalty
ronaldo to cry
Nice wee predictor here
Think Brazil meeting Argentina is somewhat inevitable

Will watch it but the World Cup doesn’t hold the same aura about it as it used to - for me anyway. Vague memories of 74 but 78 will always be the most magical World Cup for me - maybe being 16 and absolutely obsessed with the game but it was lots to do with the unknown.
Brazil players were unfamiliar for the most part and mostly Brazil-based so you didn’t see them play - most other countries were the same so their style and star players were incredible to see for the first time.
Luque and Kempes along with ardiles in that Argentina team of 78 will always be up there with the greatest teams.

This USA team isn't though. They're crap. Their results over the last few years show that
Was Italia 90 that got me hooked.
Everyone moaning about this world cup, where it's being played, the timing, human rights, LGBTQ+ and all that
It's still the World Cup
If the English win it...zero of the above will matter a fcking jot to them
The time to complain about all this was when it was awarded to them 12 year ago ......and if a team really wants to protest now, they could boycott...but oh no, it's wee messages, toned down kits and wee rainbow armbands....lot of pi$h
None of them are boycotting...becoz it's the bloody world cup and they've qualified for it
The FIFA statement was on the money for me....stoap yer bloody winging and concentrate on the fitba
Naw.... it's p1ssh......never been less interested in a WC
Think Senegal might do well
i've never been less interested in a world cup.
they got it through corruption, they have abhorrent views on workplace safety, abhorrent views on homosexuality, and because of a couple of rodents taking bungs we have to watch it in fvcking December which ruins it right away.

Somewhat agree but despite that they are still ranked 16 in the world and on that basis alone could get out their group to the last 16.
Got the wife's family staying with me for the next six weeks so we'll be backing the Argentina squad in my household. At least it makes it interesting for me and hopefully they get a good run. They've been doing well in South American qualifying and looking pretty strong so we're optimistic.
