Don't know if it's just stand ups on here...but the funniest person ever
Tommy Cooper....fack he only has to walk on stage
Much missed genius

Remember the night he died. So bizarre
Frankie Boyle and Sean Locke
I like many female comedic acts (as actresses, or in comedy roasts, or SNL-style satire), but don't think I've ever seen a female stand-up comedian I consider "funny". Stand-up doesn't seem to suit female humour.
I think men are always gonna find male comedians funnier... But I remember my mum and aunties crying at Victoria wood stuff, so it probably works both ways... She was pretty funny though.
My wife loves Sarah Millican and we've seen her live a couple of times... It's funny stuff, just never quite as good, for me.

Good northern humour

It's impossible to watch it and not think of my family, especially my nan. The show where he has his nan in the audience is so good, blackpool one, i think?
Joan Rivers I recall was pretty good.
i find a lot of women and a lot of black comedians pretty boring to be honest.
With black comedians you can bet 75% of their act is race based, and with women its 75% s£x based... i dont wanna here about politics, i wanna have a laugh

Plenty of funny women but mostly on panel show formats from what I've seen. Did watch a Netflix special by an American woman Taylor Tomlinson that I thought was genuinely funny, can't think of any others though.
Bill Burr probably my favourite, always seems to make me laugh no matter what he's doing
eliza Schlesinger is good and pretty hot. Has no issue getting naked on insta etc.
Peter Kay for me.
T'internet.
Put the big light on.

Millican -really irritating high pitched gordie accent, though seen some of her more recent stuff which wasn’t bad.
Married to Gary Delaney - master of the one liner -a bit like Tim Vine, quite funny đ
Delaney is funny but needs new material.

sean lock... such a loss to the comedy world
----------------------------------------------------------------------
THIS
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There are so many repeats of 8 Out of Ten Cats Does Countdown that I keep forgetting that Lock is brown bread. Hilarious fella.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Channel 4 released a compilation of some of his best moments on Countdown shortly after he died and towards the end his voice was a lot weaker, it was sad to see.
My mate at golf swears by Kevin bloody Wilson... I think he's an Aussie

Ellie Taylor?
Love me some stand up comedy.
Likes of Patrice O'Neil and Ralphie May were amazing (RIP both)
Patrice was the guy who never made it as big as say Bill Burr but Bill was his "student" of sorts.
Some stand ups are not as funny, Paul Mooney for example isn't my cup of tea, but he writes for other comedians and that's tuff is genius at times.
