Barry deffo identifies as a scotsman ... poor guy getting detox just thinking about no alcohol
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Barry drinks Pinot
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Remember when I brought you a can of Dragon Soop and forced you to drink it? What flavour was it?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can't remember sure it was purple / blue colour?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ah probably blue raspberry. Come here for an England game during the world cup and I shall provide more flavours and other varieties of drinks that I have discovered/made. It will help you deal with watching England.

Don’t blame Qatar for this, every country has its laws. There are things that you can do freely in Canada, but not in France, and yet they are both Western democracies. You should blame FIFA for not considering all this before.

Qatar is a shiiithole that should never have been given the World Cup. But the blame lies with FIFA for stupidly awarding them it.

I may have to do that. Thankfully away for the USA game at least. When are the knockouts? If they get that far

Exactly. If we’d held this in the USA we’d be able to shoot the side for underperforming or storm Washington if it wasnt up to scratch.

If I had to move to any state Colorado is the one. Great snow sports, warm in summer, relaxed view on pharmaceuticals, and very picturesque. Winner

Seeing as there would be no other way of purchasing the booze other than through the official channels at the stadiums I’m sure they could also control the amount of alcohol sold. This is simply about having one rule for commoners and another for the rich.

The timing of the ban is also stupid, it starts in 2 days. Could have easily stated a ban would be in place months ago and many fans would have chosen not to attend.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You can't charge £19,000 for a corporate box and then treat them the same as the stands. There is a reason why it's expensive and no one would buy it if there's no difference with the stands.

In transport we have first, second, economy class etc. Is that also one rule for the rich and another for the poor?

posted on 18/11/22

It would be if you were allowed to drink but only in first class.

posted on 18/11/22

I can imagine some guy sitting in economy class asking for the same brand of wine as first class. Sometimes there's no food allowed in economy class, while first class get a full course.

Thousands of fans potentially choosing not to attend is exactly why they have announced this two days before instead of months in advance.

Only banned at the stadium. Does this include hotels as

It's only banned from the stadiums. Not from the fanzones. Surely 90 mins without a beer shouldn't be a big problem. I agree though the timing is poor.

Also Budweiser deleted a tweet saying Well, this is awkward.

Yes because as we know most stadiums also double as hotels.
