I (and we) are the generation that has played pretty much every iteration of gaming.

I had an Atari 65XE when I was a kid (cheers dad). and played games ever since I was 4/5 from centipede right up to warzone 2.

And im the most petulant, immature bad loser at games ever. I dont break stuff but i go in proper moods and the language ... oh my days the language !!

I’m sure part of it was literally made of wood.

A wooden console. Try telling your kids about that and they’ll laugh at you.

Joke’s on them though. Peniis size is genetic.

all the 8 bit range ataris were basically the same range just slightly different loading methods

sticking in the cassette to load it up and hearing the old modem dialling tone sound as it loaded the game.

20 mins later and your good to go!!

My bro tried to take the pi$$ out me cos I was losing a game to a mate before school. acting the pure wide-o.

I warned him twice, he still acted the wide-o... I scored twice , won the game. then went and got his passport and tore it up two weeks afore he was due to go on holiday.

I got into a fight once in my house afore going to school over a game. in which i picked up a tin of paint and smashed my pal over the head with it.

no idea why my old man put me into karate and boxing ... none at all !!!

Indeed. Not even sure the ref could see it … looked like players were blocking his view, and still couldn’t give it quick enough. Ally focussing on CR7 getting his toe to the ball first … ignoring the fact there was zero contact to bring him down. Laughable.

It was a penalty. Take the current climate around CR7 out of it. The striker has the ball and is going away from goal. The defender just needs to stand his ground but he rushes in and makes contact.
