He should bench the players in good form to accommodate an underperforming young player who’s still raw and needs to improve? How do you motivate someone who gives up when you try to push them??? Mourinho wanted De Bruyne to work hard and prove him wrong. John terry tells a story about a time where Mourinho laid into him so much and made John Terry so angry that he was determined to prove him wrong and perform even better. You treat a modern player like that and they down tools to get the manager sacked. How is this mourinhos fault?

Roma don’t have a squad to win serie a. Napoli are an outstanding team currently and destroyed Liverpool. Roma have a team to finish top 4 and Mourinho has Roma in the race for top 4.

Roma will finish top 4 this season. They’re only A few points behind 4th currently.

They won’t. There’s at least five better teams in Serie A.

given the money spent they should be .... given the players in the squad they should be able to challenge and certainly be in the hunt for CL places.

their wage bidget is also the 3rd highest in seria A

If their squad isn’t as good, then why should you be dissapounted if Mourinho doesn’t finish top 4?
