They are, so it's not stupid. Under ETH Rashford has started to play again, Casemiro is settled now and starting to do well, Bruno is twice the player without Ronaldo.

And isn't their manager doing well. Louis learnt everything he knows at OT. Unbeaten in 19 games since his appointment.
Actually he wasn't right for us, too negative, but his interviews were the best, and his pitch side diving hilarious.

International football tournaments are no valid indicator of a players ability to contribute to a club's team capacity/cohesion etc.

That being pointed out, it was obvious during his, all too short, stay at the club that Depay, who is/was better than what was left behind, had no chance at a club that currently has a policy of sacking it's good 'uns and keeping it's deadbeat.

I don't (or didn't) need a marketing exercise disguised as a "football tournament"to demonstrate that - one way or another.

Blind was pretty useful as well.

Weird times.
