Always thought the timing of this World Cup was the hardest on arsenal as they were playing so well and wouldn’t want the break

Wouldn't be so sure he offers a cutting edge that they missed playing without a forward but with that one less player in midfield its affected their ability to control games they lost to Brentford, should of dropped points against Fulham. The saying goes attacks win you games and defences win you leagues and our defence is better than theirs. Its all immaterial though if we don't get an adequate replacement for Jesus.

Leave Balogun where he is, would be stupid to recall him as hes getting loads of game time. IMO he will need another season on loan after this to see if hes ready.
Think Martinelli could do a job if we sigh the Ukranian guys.

we have been saying over and over that the number 9 shirt is cursed at arsenal and people refused to listen, unfortunately even the players don't do any research on the numbers they put on their back. I was just waiting for the inevitable and it has happened. If you remember Edwardo, was good and got injured, Baptista was a disaster, Davor Suker failed, Lucas Perez no one remembers him, Poldoski was average, Lacazette was average, why cant the kit man rest this shirt??. we have talked and talked and wrote about this and they have refused to hear us. Buying a very good player and giving him a cursed number is a shame and a big shame
