She was an amateur detective who solved more Murders than the entire FBI. Also considered the worlds most prolific serial killer - but that’s a different debate.
Fletcher got a lot of the chatter yesterday so made the final list

Gene Hunt

Didn’t make it
Frost
Taggart
Colombo
Morse
Fletcher
In that order
Morse for me. Tip top writing and locations.
My problem with Columbo is that you knew who did it as soon as Columbo asked that one more question.
Here's the comment you seem to need so much

Not a valid poll then if you’re including Jessica Fekin Feltcher
And no Frank Cannon.
Did the op even count the votes from yesterday?
And just one more question…….?
Okay, to keep everybody happy - I will do heats
Top 2 today are guaranteed entry to the final with two more tomorrow. Best runner up gets the final spot
unfair vote....FYI, most people are NOT actually voting for Columbo .......

Well… you do see them commit the actual murder.
Well, it’s already an overwhelming win for the great Frank Columbo.
Get in!!
Kojak has to be in the running.
Who loves ya, baby.
I cannot believe that Sonny Crockett and Rico Tubbs are not in the top 2 far less top 5 were none of you alive in the 80’s?

In fairness most were not.
You talking 2 cops that wore Versarce and the like.
Drove blinged out cars.
Vs Columbo, with a clapped out Peugeot and an all purpose full length jacket.
The best detective work undertaken on British tv is undoubtedly the character Ross Gaines, the spy in Pauline’s job centre restart class, in Royston Vasey.
Beyond dispute. Harrumph!
