It's never that important but just an example, he Whatsapped me a question last night, I've responded with a follow up question and he still hasn't opened it yet. This is a regular occurence.
Text him to say he's a caaant. See how long it takes him to respond

would still take a day I reckon.
Some of my mates are so reliant of this new barrier a mobile phone gives them. Almost like they are scared to actually pick up the phone and talk and would rather text.
I call one of my mates and he replies via text asking if i rang...when it's evident I did. Just call back ffs
The odd occasion where you just about miss someone's call, call them back literally 5 seconds later and they don't pick up. Never understood it.
I always text and not phone.
Have a mate who responds to texts with a phonecall that I never answer.
Communication between mates on the phone should be the following text exchange:
"pub?"
"yeah"

I always wonder if it was easier in my dads day where you just showed up to the pub and see who’s there. A mentality he still keeps to this day despite being now well up with technology.

Try: ‘mate, I’ve been thinking. I have to get this off my chest, I’m sorry but l nailed your sister. She’s pregnant, so it looks like we are going to be family. Oh and it was only once with your mum, we were both drunk, your sis is cool with that’

I didn’t have a mobile at uni. Was telling a younger person at work this and they were just dumbfounded at how a social life could operate without a mobile.
It was dead easy. You just turned up at a pub. If there weren’t many people there we tried another. Maybe another - hey presto, impromptu pub crawl. And if you wanted to see someone, you went to their house.

The kids aren’t in bed until 8pm - that’s when I start communicating with people!
One talks with his mouth full of food, that annoys me
There’s someone I work with who when he’s got a cold/runny nose just spends the day sniffing instead of getting some tissue and blowing his nose occasionally
