I have no idea what he’s done recently to trigger people but generally speaking I think he’s a smug prick.

And locking an entire workforce out of the building and telling them to work harder and longer hours or feck off - seems like a d*ck move to me.

Just because you have
44 billion worth of sh!t doesn't mean you can dump it anywhere.
Elon doesn't trigger anyone. Who gets triggered by a clown?

Musk claims to advocate free speech and reinstated a host of accounts that promote misinformation and wild conspiracy theories.

Turning a blind eye to the far right nonsense from the likes of QAnon. When journalists have reported this, they are banned without warning.

Along with the appalling way twitter staff were treated. The chaos from his Twitter purchase, and subsequent mishandling of the platform has driven away advertisers as his struggles continue.

The only thing he's triggered is the downturn of the platform.

Twitter, whilst hardly perfect had a reasonably robust enforcement policy. Where accounts that continually amplified nonsensical conspiracy theories were (eventually) banned. Rather than being promoted...

Given Musk's narcissistic tendencies he's tried to redevelop the platform without taking advice from its employees or social media experts. To the detriment of the vast majority of its users.

What has Musk done to enable "free speech?"

On one hand he enables alt right conspiracy theorists, citing free speech, and on the other shuts down journalists reporting on his said actions.

The liberals can't tolerate an opinion that differs from their own and just shout or demand the person is cancelled. It's gone too far.

Just cancelling people with a different view isn't the answer. Elon bought a company losing millions and has every right to do what he wants with Twitter.

If snowflakes don't like Twitter any more they can go and use/start a different platform. They won't. Elon won't lose any sleep over it. He loves trolling them. And it entertains plenty of normal people sick of their behaviour too.

You do realise that generally speaking society is utterly deferential to the rich and famous - putting them on a pedestal whereby quite often they’re not accountable in the way ordinary folk are.

There is visible hero worship of the rich in all aspects of life. Even Musk himself has a huge following, people worship him as a genius of modern times.

Occasionally however, whether someone is rich or poor, you just think they’re a d*ck.
