I think there are 6 better squads (Arsenal, City, Liverpool, United, Newcastle and Chelsea) than Spurs and that's why we'll finish 7th.
I don't think playing 3 center backs works min the PL given the attacking focus of all the above squads who have better feel for what their managers want (ex Chelsea, still a bit early for Potter) compared to Spurs.
I don't expect Levy etc to properly address the squad's weaknesses in Jan. Don't care what our league position is in Late December.... It means NOTHING. I don't like Conte's behavior (Sign the deal or fack off), I don't trust levy (I never will !!!) and I don't like what I see on the pitch..... Its either hyper negative or just desperate in an attempt to save a game we have thrown away because of our pathetic tactics.
I think Conte is massively overrated, without limitless funds and the league's best players he's a tactically inept show pony. A great resume does not make him a great fit for Spurs... Once again this is all about Levy thinking far too highly of himself and believing a "trophy pig manager" will get us across the line... It's embarrassing how stupid he is
7th & no trophy.. There's a far greatly likelyhood of the likes of Liverpool, United and Chelsea picking up in the second half of the season than Spurs and all of the clubs mentioned above will probably have a more productive Jan window than Spurs
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Again though only Levy is to blame - everybody and his wife knows how Conte works, so being surprised at his transfer demands just isn’t on - Levy knew when he hired him.
History shows that if backed properly Conte will win the title - Yet Levy has no interest in winning anything with us he just wants top 4 on a shoe string.
So Conte is a bad fit for Spurs - but that is 100% Levy’s fault.
Add in we have the worst defence since Clinton’s “I did not have seex with that women” and we are a train wreck.
However, I still think we will outdo Newcastle, Chelsea and United as I think short term all 3 have bigger problems than we do

Top 4 very much in the balance now when at one point I would have felt confident we were going to get it. The season is underwhelming compared to my expectations but if we can do well outside of the PL then it can still be a success. Something needs to change though in order for us to get our rhythm back. A fully fit first team and a new signing or 2 would help.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A competent RWB (Porro) and the players starting games like they end them would be good enough for top 4 and transform the mood around the club.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Top 4 will be difficult. United and Liverpool look like they are getting their acts together and Liverpool as we know are capable of going on these long winning runs, the like of which we aren't.
I'm just disappointed we aren't closer to the lead. We should be.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I am very confident we will finish above United - they beat Forest FFS a side that have picked up 2 away points all season.
The fawning they are getting is embarrassing - they are still below us despite beating us, Liverpool and Arsenal this season - you know what that tells me, that tells me they have dropped points to absolute dross and will continue to do so
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeh United this morning are in a title challenge cos they beat Forest. And Chelsea are back in it because they beat Bournemouth.
City, Chelsea, Liverpool, United and Arsenal couldn't have hand picked an easier set of fixtures to resume.
Bournemouth
Leeds
West Ham
Nottm Forest
Aston Villa
And they say the league isn't fixed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If the league is fixed Sandy then why are you so confident Spurs will get top four. Surely the league will do their utmost to stop that from happening?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Spurs will rise above the corruption, and let their football take them to a top four finish.

Well I think we might be better off losing both matches to City given Arsenal are 10 points above us with a game in hand.
The defender you are talking about is Harry Souttar at Stoke - no thanks, if that’s the height of our ambition then we may as well pack up and go home now.
Who could we get:
Skriniar is in his last 6 months of contract
Bastoni - Inter are skint and not starting him consistently
Ndicka - we can pay Frankfurt what they want
Porro - has a release clause of £40m
It’s not difficult, we just have to be prepared to spend, like Liverpool have already and United, Chelsea, Arsenal, City all will.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If he was good enough to play in the world cup, then he would be good enough for Spurs. He certainly looked a whole lot better than anything Spurs currently have.
The so called better players you have mentioned, may also be massive flops in the Prem.
