I'm in the unusual position of being in the Manager out camp, but I'd still like to be proved wrong and we get sufficiently good results to keep us up. I can see a scenario where we have a poor January and February leading to the Board finally being forced to act - unfortunately that could easily lead us to the disaster of relegation so it's not a situation I want us to be in.
I can't see another way Brendan leaves us in the short term, unless another club (or England ) comes in for him.
I think it all depends on who is out there as well, Potter looks a little precarious at Chelsea, he'd be a perfect fit but would he come?
The sooner the better for me, the longer he stays the more long term damage he is doing, Premier League survival or not.
