For just €15m it's worth the risk. Might not help but won't do any harm for sure to have another body in midfield. He could be great for you or be sold on for a profit. However, he is linked with everyone all the time so a pinch of salt.

Exactly what we don’t need. Honestly every penny this window should go towards defenders. If Conte intends on converting this guy to a defender or wing back then fine - but he looks I’ll suited in my opinion.

We were all over this guy before his move to Barca and then bought Bissouma instead - hopefully this is just the tabloids being lazy

Exactly - this is why I’m worried this rumour is true. Available on the cheap, Conte wanted him previously, Levy not prepared to pay what it will take for decent defenders so we buy this guy as a compromise even though he is not needed

A hard tackling energetic, not very creative but robust player.

The exact sorta player that the fans have been calling out for with the great football thy have been subjected to so far.

You need a CB, and a creative midfielder badly.
