The Anfield result was different. We’ve lost once at home in 5 years or something in front of our supporters, it was reasonable to expect us to come back.

West Ham shouldn’t have had a sniff but Arsenal opened the door wide by gifting it.

Also Arsenal fans should be worried by the reaction, again, never really looked like winning it after the setback.

Reasonable or not, the way Arsenal approached (or rather didn't approach} dealing with your fightback was significant, because they played the same way today at 2-0 up

So it can be simultaneously in neither and both team's hands?

It's still more in Arsenal's hands than City's. It's more like in one hand for City, and both hands for Arsenal.

The team that figures out it needs to be on their feet, as opposed to in their hands, will win it, otherwise than constant handballing will lose them the title.

Obviously, very unlikely though. Saints are generally terrible. Perfect game for Arsenal to get their confidence back.
