You’re right, but it’s really easy to see why the referee didn’t give a red and why it wasn’t overturned.

Well yes, clearly you’re having trouble with it.

The refs don't even know the rules anymore. That's a red all day long.

Ref was right to give that colour of card. And VAR already did a check on the colour.....of the person being fouled and confirmed that it shouldn't be a red.
