He's English and helps the homegrown quota I guess. He's also good at taking instructions so I guess ETH would like that about him. I'm not massively excited but he's a far better player than he's shown this season

So we’re now in the 39th minute of extra time

We need a few players who can find space and help to look after the ball (and who want the ball, not hide from it like McT does).

It’s a weird one, but think he’s obviously better than he’s shown this year (as are most of their players), would be a better option for the squad than VBB, McT and half of the games Fred plays.

Still need someone else though to pick it up from deep, ETH wanted FDJ way too much to just ignore a player of that kind now.

I agree that he's a little underrated now probably but his best position is the same as Bruno's.

either he's coming in as a squad player or you're hoping he can replace eriksen despite having never really shown anything deeper areas.

Look at his stats, he’s a decent creator but he’s got really good defensive numbers.

Bruno much more attacking.

Depends on the fee for me, one of those players a lot of fans wont appreciate as much as managers/staff/players. Last year of his contract anything less than 35m would be good for mount. Proven has put some good numbers in the prem and for his age played a lot of games so fairly experienced at 24, played in euro final cl final etc?

having really good defensive numbers doesn't mean you're a deeper player. Shane long had really good defensive numbers. pressing happens high up the pitch and is a different skill to shielding a defence etc
