The Howard Webb effect again at Leicester. The ref didn't give the most blatant penalty you'll ever see and VAR refused to overturn his decision.

Howard Webb should be charged for that. It's him who's bringing the game into disrepute.

And it doesn't actually protect his incompetent mates. As we spend more time talking about the pash poor calls than we would do if VAR just intervened and the right call was made.

I kind of think they should scrap it now as the bar is being set far too high for it to actually change anything. What Howard Webb considers clear and obvious and what someone not trying to cover for refs finds clear and obvious are very different, unfortunately.
