Day 6 of our first two week PL winter break. Bored. Only 8 more days to go until this long break is over. The players will be extremely rusty.

Then another 2 and a half week PL winter break straight after that match. FFS PL players are all going to be too untired.

Do we need to increase the number of teams in the PL so that there are more fixtures overs over the winter period so players don't get rusty? Such sustained breaks from playing cannot be good for players' fitness and will surely affect them at the Euros.

Exactly. PL teams not playing their first teams. The top players, those who play for the England national team first team etc, will not be playing. This gives these players long periods of rest. The opposite of what the vast majority of fans and media will tell you. The only top players that will be playing will be those who have not had enough game time, to get them up to speed. Data shall be collected and shown to you any time you complain that top players don't get a decent break in the PL season. Let your boredom during these periods be your punishment for being so wrong about everything.

How is everyone's favourite Ghanaian Division One team doing?

Group 1B is led by Young Apostles, with Eleven Wonders in bottom place.

Group 2 is headed by the Holy Stars, with a 5-point gap over Soccer Intellectuals. My own team, the Ebusua Mysterious Dwarfs are down in 6th, with Venomous Vipers in 10th.

It might prove to be a season too early for Future Stars and Young Redbull, both of which currently sit in the relegation places.

In group 3, second-placed Na God are hot on the heels of leaders Vision. Hohoe United are third, with Uncle T United 9th and Golden Kick 12th. In last place, although refusing to give up, we find Still Believe, in what is otherwise shaping up to be a pretty good season for God.
