Chelsea have been dog$hit all season and are likely to finish above us

They can have the Conference place with our blessing. It's more trouble than it's worth.
As soon as CL went I was kind of hoping for 8th or 9th. It will end up being a blessing in disguise for the new manager next season with more time on the training pitch and less games.

Not for us. We have a 25% wage reduction for all our playing squad. The only good thing Ed Woodward did in 10 years.
We will be fine. π

We need to secure CL place now. Otherwise we can't go forward. Is that different to United?
Should we therefore try and get CL football so that others don't? Cos we'd be the only ones that could survive not getting it? Let Chelsea or Spurs die

It’ll be good to have fewer games. Less opportunities for Manchester United to boil my piiiiiiss when I watch them play.

We should arguably concede fewer as well.
Before any player sales happen (which are coming too) our wage bill drops from 200m a year to 150m with no CL football.
That almost replaces the lost CL income. Not quite all of it but not far off.
Ed Woodward masterclass. π
Feel sick giving Woodward credit for something. It's like giving the government credit for a good policy.
Although, Chelsea will just get banned from Europe for their hilarious spending if they qualify anyway.
Palmer will definitely go to the Euros you would think. Already scored more in a season than Foden and Saka have. He is now the man to hype up.

Very true.
Doing one good thing in 10 years for the CEO of one of the biggest sports teams on earth isn't exactly great though is it?
Crazy to think we are going to a tournament with Kane Bellingham Saka Foden Palmer etc and we still won't win it. π
