2 wrongs don't make a right.

Arteta was screaming for a booking, so he obviously expects Rice to be booked for his later indiscretion. He can't now complain that he didn't think Rice should have had a 2nd booking.

It's quite easy to prove, someone find an example of a yellow (even better a second yellow) of someone brushing the ball away from their foot

Why can't he complain about it? The other team got away with it? The referee has set a very obvious precedent.

If you can`t win the game then you have to make sure to lose it. We did that. Even the ref. couldnt prevent that,

Yeah, actually it seems Rice was given a 2nd yellow for not retreating/delaying the restart by being in the way deliberately, not for actually kicking the ball away.

So it appears the ref actually ignored the kicking the ball away offence.

So honours even from the ref. No yellow for either kicking the ball away offence.
