I imagine Barry has a Soccer Saturday style TV set up with access to every game.

Have you two considered starting a boy band? You're definitely in sync

I'm watching it as I didn't see a second of the other games, I usually have the laptops fired up and watch a few other games but not tonight, fair enjoyed our game for a change

Didn't watch the Celtic game live but thoroughly enjoyed the highlights.

I am trying to think of a good analogy to describe the new format

See this: this is a sentence made up of small groups of letters, arranged in a format that we can make sense of and mean something.

See this: jrjwkktnskskfjsjskfknrntndakkrkntbejakkfjfbrbskskdjfbbdskkrfbsnbsdkkrnd

This is the new super league format.

We know what the individual letters are, they are matches. But we have no idea how they relate to eachother or form something easily understandable or meaningful.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Does this make sense?

We can try to decipher it and see. I'll start.

The leftover 'd' on the second line is for 'dead rubber'.

'brb' in the middle indicates that the author needed to focus on other matters that required their urgent attention before promptly returning.

It does not necessarily form part of the code for the league.

Today's BBC Sport headline on English players playing abroad:

"A man arrested for orchestrating the importation of drugs is professional football player Jay Emmanuel-Thomas.

The 33-year-old striker, who currently plays for Greenock Morton, was arrested at his home in Cardwell Road, Gourock, on Wednesday and taken to Carlisle for questioning."

He got an assist against top of the table Falkirk the other week, but no BBC headline because he isn't white. Now gets a headline for making a minor mistake, of being black.

Quincy Promes is the one. It’s an amazing story and he’s still ‘at large’.
