The philosophical question remains. Retrospectively you say that Man City should be stripped of their titles, even last season, yet with nothing changing, you see the current situation as valid? You watch Man City games as of they are genuine? Can you please explain it? Is it just because you need football to go on and feel like it's real?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Look, Barry, City are facing serious charges regarding financial misconduct, with allegations of knowingly breaching rules to gain an unfair competitive advantage. The range of charges, which is between 115 and 155, reflects extensive scrutiny of the club's financial practices. The outcome of the ongoing hearing will determine the severity of any potential punishment, which could include fines, points deductions, or other sanctions such as demotion to the Scottish league. The situation highlights broader concerns about financial fairness and compliance in football, not just confined to English football but where money is involved, where state ownership is involvement, where green washing is involved.

It’s all corrupt. City got caught but I bet they’re all at it.

Of course they are not.

Why are all clubs open and transparent with their finances except for City? It appears that City are concealing information, possibly to level the playing field through questionable tactics. Since the takeover, the club's inflated valuation raises serious concerns about its financial practices.

Bollox. They’ll all be doing it in some way of other. Naïve to think otherwise. It’s what the PL deserve, rampant greed has brought these state owned clubs in, fack the PL, it’s their own fault.

And how have City ‘cheated’, exactly?

By breaking a set of rules that weren’t in place when other big clubs established themselves financially?

Football has never been fair and frankly, any big club fan moaning about City’s finances probably needs a history lesson.

Their ‘cheating’ certainly isn’t what has prevented United from achieving more over the past decade.

Those in charge have decided these rules are for the good of the game and if City have broken then so be it. But personally, I don’t think hanging off those charges and making out the rest are so hard done by really sits right.
