My view was the ball held up and was lined up well for Evanilson. Salibas caught wrong side and White and Califori are well wide and unless all of a sudden have walker like pace aint getting back.. Salibas done an instinctive foul in panic. Had he not hes prob got the pace to get back imo. But he did and VAR rightly got involved as a yellow would have been a clear and obvious wrong decision in Bournemouths eyes.

Completely understand your point of view. No reason why the referee couldn’t give it as a yellow card and was also surprised to see VAR overturn it.

I also spend most of my life with a carrot in my backside which gives me dumb points of view like the one above. What’s your excuse?

Agreed. Why did VAR get involved when they said at the start of the season they wouldn't get involved in such scenarios?
