Obviously there was an outpouring of sorrow for Nick Pope when he had to miss the League Cup final due to suspension.

I wonder if that played a part in the scandalous failure by the ref/ VAR to award Wolves a pen and send him off at 0-0.

Once again if that's not a clear and obvious error by the ref what is and it makes a mockery of having the technology?

There's nothing wrong with the concept of VAR but unfortunately it's not being used correctly and despite the constant controversies nothing changes.

Wolves have every right to be furious and Newcastle will have him available for the next 4 games when he shouldn't be.

It would only have been a one or two game ban, as it wasn't violent conduct. But I agree about the failings of VAR. I don't think it was about the prior suspension, rather just not wanting to undermined the on field official. Particularly when it was a decision against the home team, the favourites and both a red card and a penalty to be given.

It's a shame VAR aren't so reluctant to overrule the on field ref for red card calls at Old Trafford!

Sky said it would of been 4 games but either way it was a huge stroke of luck for Newcastle.

Sky are wrong 😂. Might be 2 games as a second red but definitely wouldn't be 4 games, just as his previous ban was 1 game and not 3.

Nowhere close to the Qatari League.

2 late goals in the 96th and 98th minutes from the league leaders Al Duhail were enough to secure a draw.

No doubt Wolves have upset the FA somehow. The third disgrace of a decision this season.

Fans' happiness in the PL this season:

Arsenal: Happy
Aston Villa: Happy
Bournemouth: Unhappy
Brentford: Happy
Brighton and Hove Albion: Happy
Chelsea: Unhappy
Crystal Palace: Unhappy
Everton: Unhappy
Fulham: Happy
Leeds United: Unhappy
Leicester City: Unhappy
Liverpool: Unhappy
Manchester City: Happy
Manchester United: Happy
Newcastle United: Happy
Nottingham Forest: Unhappy
Southampton: Unhappy
Tottenham Hotspur: Unhappy
West Ham United: Unhappy
Wolverhampton Wanderers: Unhappy

8 teams are happy. 12 teams are unhappy. That is a lot of unhappy teams for having the privilege of being in the PL. There is a lot of garbage going on in the bottom half and the top teams have failed to perform.
