I’ve seen us be ten points clear and not win it and Arsenal are more than capable of going on a run. In fact you could argue they’re already on one. They’ve not lost since Nov 2nd I don’t think.

Throw in us bottling it last year, I’m taking absolutely nothing for granted.

Usually plays on the right though and isn't going to start over Saka, maybe he would be good down the centre. Right wing is where Newcastle are weakest so he would slot in well there

Think we just ran out of steam last season after being decimated by injuries. Hopefully we won't be as unlucky on that front this season, plus our style of play isn't as intense now.

I still think you're playing too well to drop enough points for us to take it now, plus we'd have to be perfect to the end of the season and we don't look that convincing.

But I think it's always smart to be a little wary and things can change very quickly in football

Yeah I imagine some of it will come down to injuries in that period.

I still maintain that things lined up nicely for you over those first 8-10 games but I think since then you've cemented yourself as the best team in the league. If you can make it through the more challenging periods and still look half as you do now then it'll be a well deserved title.

Transfers will be important too this month. What if we somehow lose Trent and Arsenal sign a striker?

We’re in a great position, but I’ve seen us in those plenty of times, including last season with this exact same set of players.

Liverpool have 6 great forward options though and Trent who can pick an incredible pass. Even on their off days he can ping those balls into dangerous areas and they can swarm the opposition.

Yet to be seen how they'll react to a bad run but I suspect they'll always be able to play that card and bounce back.
