Didn’t city get diicked by boro? That was racking hilarious.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Last game of the season and a popular manager was sacked just before kick off.

Only an idiot would take that result seriously.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

So it doesn’t count because of what was happening at the club?

What a stupid comment.

There’s been numerous results more embarrassing than Utd losing by the odd goal at home. I’d put the grey shirts of Southampton 3-1 Utd above that

Stoke 6 - 1 Liverpool in Gerrard’s last game was painful.
Villa sticking seven past us.

Liverpool 7 - 0 Utd, their worst Derby loss since the 1800’s would probably win it though.

Haaland has signed a new 9.5 year contract which keeps him at the club until next season when they go bust. Might as well have a million year contract. It will contain a relegation clause anyway.

Thinking the result was relevant is stupid.

However it did start a chain of events that lead to a change of ownership so ultimately it was a good thing

Last game of the season, neither City nor Boro were going to be relegated or clinch a European place.

A perfect example of a dead rubber game.

So?

It’s still a ridiculous result and performance. It’s still a PL match. And it will still feature in discussions around the worst results in the league.

Trying to dismiss it because it was the last game of the season is laughable mental gymnastics.

Good luck with that.

It seems to mean more to you than any City fan.

Dreadful result but it started the ball rolling for Sheikh Mansour to take over the club.

City beating United 6-1 at Old Trafford a few years later was more of a shock considering the Rags were top of the league at the time

posted 5 hours, 16 minutes ago

It doesn’t mean much to me at all.

There was a discussion about the worst results in the PL and I mentioned that one.

No need to cry about it.

Haaland (or his agent) are very clever when it comes to contract renewals. I wouldn't be surprised to see a release clause in the event a top team comes in for him.

posted 3 hours, 54 minutes ago

Real Madrid are the only European club who could get near his transfer fee

So after drawing away at the league leaders, knocking Arsenal out of the cup in their own backyard, with ten men and a routine home win against Southampton, Ruben and the boys seem to have rattled a few cages this week, Tally Ho
