They were as good as Arsenal over the first 105 mins.

I watched the last 60 mins and thought Arsenal were much better tbh, but wasn’t 100% concentrating!

Sporting were on top most of the second half. Had more of the ball and created far more chances.

I think they just ran out of gas in the end, but my god, what a shift they put in.

I'd love to see the distance covered figures.

Watched a TIfo analysis about Benfica. Interesting stuff, would be great to see them progress further in the CL.

I don't think it's that much of a surprise though.

Palhinha is a massive miss, as is Nunes. Porro had a great understanding with Edwards and did a lot of work building attacks. Paulinho has missed quite a lot of games, too.

Would be a great final if it was Napoli v Benfica in the CL. Not only would it be refreshing, but it would also stick one to the European Super League advocates.

Two teams unearthing gems on limited budgets. Yes, it's probably not sustainable and both teams will be picked off in the summer. But it shows that brilliant planning can be rewarded. Napoli sold off their "best" players in the summer and have done okay with clever signings!
