Didn’t Maguire have an illness last week? Maybe just sensible to keep the same back 4 for now as Shaw was fine at CB from what I heard. I’m sure we’ll look into selling Maguire in the summer but for now he gives us a back up option which is better than nothing.

Wasn't Garnacho disciplined in the Summer for similar? If he was then perhaps Erik sees starting him and dropping Rashford for the same thing as squaring the circle and to show everyone is treated the same.

Will be dropped if youre late for training or team meetings.
not drink alcohol in gameweeks.
eat what is prepared by the club (personal chefs are banned)
BMI to be checked monthly.
complain to Ten Hag rather than agents.

So if they’re true then assume he rocked up late

Nothing against Ten Hag. I think he’s done it the right way.
All I’m bothered about is the ‘fallout’, by that I mean the Press/pundits. There’s suddenly a ‘major’ headline ready to drop in 90 mins. And in his short time Ten Hag has more or less done well with the media.

It’s just we in a good vibe at the moment. And suddenly the shiiithousery will start all over again, right after putting CR7 to bed,

Without knowing any details - Rashford is a massive massive CANT and the manager is doing the right thing.

The media can do what they like. I’m sure Rashford and all the other players understand EtHs rules and Rashford will be starting the next game.

The press is going to be torn between tearing into Ten Hag for dropping England players and finally knocking Sir Marcus down a peg or two for daring to feed poor children

It's a shame we're being deprived of Martinez v Costa today.
