Far play to Arsenal, they backed their manager with the players he asked for and they are flying.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Hardly an injury to a key player. Helps they can put out an unchanged team game after game. A couple of injuries to their big players, and let's see how they get on. And don't mention Smith-Rowe, he is on the same level as Skipp.

Spurs had a whole spine missing against Brentford, Lloris, Romero, Bentancur and Richarlison.

" if as seems likely Arsenal could win the Prem.

What an incentive for Spurs to win the ultimate prize, and upstage Arsenal. I really wouldn't put it past them."
******************
Well now Sandy, the Arsenholes winning the Prem seems quite likely doesn't it....they're running away with it ATM, 7pts clear.
And where are we? 5th with Pool breathing down our necks and Chelsea a game in hand.
My prediction of 7th is looking better all the time!

It all depends upon what Levy & co do for Conte in the January window. As everybody knows, our defence needs an upgrade. Do you really trust Low Ball Levy to do much in that direction?
Even you would not bet on that......so 7th it is for this season.

As for winning the CL....buddy boy, you're deluded.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Spurs will be back in 4th today, Ted, breathing down Newcastle and Cities neck. And just three two legged ties and a final away from winning the CL.

Top four will be a doddle, with City in free fall, and absolutely no way Newcastle will stay where they are.

Could you imagine what supporters like you Ted would say if Spurs dropped home points to Brentford and Everton in successive home games. You would be in meltdown.

Humble pie not tasting so good at the moment Sandy?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

LOL City just dropped five points at home to Brentford and Everton. City are not even guaranteed top four, with the pack closing in. And you ain't winning the CL with Spurs still in it, they have your number big time.

Sandy, if spurs win the CL, I will personally give you - or a charity of your choice - a grand. All I ask is a tenth in return to a charity of my choosing.

We can also do the whole name change thing for sh!ts and gigs. Deal?

Happy new year
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I can get 50/1 with the bookies, so your bet is not great. If I put down £100, would you put down £5,100?

Name any team that you think will win the CL this season and I will give you a reason why Spurs will beat then. There is no team in the competition that is better than us.

And if a team as average as Arsenal can be labelled as title contenders then top 4 should be a doddle for Spurs

Well the PL is bigger than the UCL, which is a compete commercial failure as is common knowledge.

So even if you did, it wouldn’t cause us any issues.

But anyway, last time spurs won a major title was 1991, so I’ll believe it when it happens lol.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

LOL of course it is Petal. Arsenal ain't in it. Thursday nights for you lot. Ouch.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Did you miss the whole super league thing?

Even Florentino Perez, who’s prided himself and his club on success in the UCL, publicly said that the UCL is a commercial failure and, hence, why we need a super league.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Oh well if Florentino Perez said it then it must be true. Clearly there is no bias or ulterior motive for him to make that comment

Seriously, do you actually have your own opinion to contribute, or do you just parrot the opinions of other people with their own skewed biases?

Must be true of City too, who spent £3bn and have played in 1 CL final and yet to win a CL same as Spurs?
Also, Spurs keep beating City and have the best record against City in the last 2-3 years...Pep must be losing his follicles trying to work that out...Losing to Spurs whole season is a spineless trait right?

Yeah 14 wins out of 16 you keep telling yourself we are average because deep down you know we're not.

Spurs have pretty well owned City in the whole of the Prem era. Only their oil money has given them a few wins. Otherwise it would probably be the most one sided fixure in Prem history.

so lets see what happens with Villa tomorrow, shall we?
Back in fourth.....you should put your money where your mouth is, Sandy Ole boy!
I have no confidence in this team...with Dier, Davies, Sanchez ...uncle Tom Cobbley & all at the back!

Its a crap shoot what happens tomorrow.
And the sooner Kane is out of this ENIC fiasco, the better for him!

Couldn’t give a monkeys what spurs have done to us in the past 2 years given we’ve won the league both times. I’m sure Kane can look back on it as the highlight of his career though

That's a very impressive run, in any context tbh.

Some of these fixtures fell right into the team, no doubt and helped build up the gap, but you can only play what team the fixture list picked.

Fair play on that. It is just as crucial that Arsenal built up such a confidence building run, on the back of some very good fixtures, which created this belief in the side, before their next few games where they are going to be tested fully.
Make no mistakes, even Newcastle have tasted the headiness of top 4, and will fight you for it.

Last season, Arsenal dropped crucial points at Spurs and Newcastle - so time to show how good a side this side is.

"Supporting Spurs" does not mean you have to be an unrealistic idiot, like you!
I said Seventh or Eighth and after yesterdays clownish performance, ....
even YOU will have to admit its a more realistic expectation that your "4th".
Sandy, you are the very worst WUM on JA606.
You should do your silent act again.
