If Arsenal winbtge title it will be a fluke. Like Leicester it will be a one off.
And anyway who gives a feck about them if they fluke a Prem title?
I cannot stand that crybaby Arteta.

I didn't include Leicester because it was more of a fluke. Then again they won another trophy in the last couple of years.
Sums us up....we never seem to get it quite right.
Frustrating....but long ago accepted we'll never do owt in my lifetime.

Talking of fluke title wins - 61 and never again
I don't think you can really fluke a 38 game season. They were the most consistent team and deserved the title.
I still think city will win the league but arsenal have been outstanding third season.
Spurts your owners don’t care about titles only money like most others unfortunately. Also and not being bad but I don’t think the team is anywhere near good enough to win the league although that’s on the ownership.
Finally you can’t fluke the league. FFS fluking 38 games
Sorry to raise to intellect level of this article but anyone who finishes above this Man City side deserves to be Champions

You say it will have been a fluke but that will be the second trophy picked up by Arteta. Clearly he will have proven what a great manager he is. You know he predicted him to go on to be a good manager? Poch.
To make it worse they will win it with someone who still is a rookie manager. Man City didn't see them as a threat which was why they were happy for them to take Jesus and Zinchenko. City have been humbled.

This.
As much as I hate it say it but there are alot if things that Woolwich have done and are doing which we could easily replicate. Their style of play for one.
Looks like we are going to have to take our medicine again.

I have given Levy a little more slack lately because it seems he's been trying a bit more - bringing a manager in like Conte, spending more money, the early signings for a change. We will see if this continues with the revenue coming in from the new stadium. But until it doesn't happen it's failure regardless.
It would be seriously impressive if they did. Beating this City team to the title would be a huge achievement.
From a spurs perspective it would just reinforce we're not on their level as a club. Our golden years of 2016-2019 ultimately delivered nothing in trophy terms.
We now have the stadium, huge revenue and are an established top 6 club but we look as far away from winning anything as ever. I just think we'll always have something missing as a club to win these big trophies (or any trophy )

Until we don't win anything I mean.
We are not even half way so I wouldn't get too worried yet.
That said I didn't see it coming at all, I thought after blowing the 4 point lead they had on us in the last 3 faces of last season they'd take a while to recover. Have to begrudgingly admit they've bounced back very impressively from that massive disappointment.
I was looking at the table this morning and thinking how close its now getting behind them what with City dropping so many unexpected points recently.
If Arsenal do win it (and I am with Irish in thinking City will still do it), it will be down to long term planning that is sustainable.
Josh Kroenke took a massive risk to put Edu and Arteta in and back them through a large rebuild. More money than ever was invested, but at the same time youth development was important. Big names on big wages were unceremoniously dispatched, and Arteta took a lot of criticism. Even if it meant two steps back, the end goal was established and a time frame put in. Arteta and Edu have met those goals, and the risks look like paying dividends.

Would agree and not being bad mate I don’t see you winning anything anytime soon. The competition is getting brutal and now Newcastle are joining the party and United look to be getting their act together.
Also us and United could have new owners within 12 months who are willing to splash the cash

I must admit, from the few clips I saw of their all or nothing doc, I thought Arteta came across as an absolute t!t. Reminded me of David Brent at times.
His whole philosophy seemed so cringe. I didn’t think there was a chance of the players buying into it. But they have and I’m absolutely gutted.
