On the Kane issue I get that he's a Spurs man and has shown loyalty previously, he's been well financially rewarded and clearly wants to win something with the team BUT could another season, if Spurs win nothing be the end for him? He will still have a high sale value atm and some suitors, would you take selling him or should he stay?
On Conte I've no idea whether he will stay or go and then throw in the whole Levy ENIC part and it's a conundrum atm
Top four is never going to happen, let’s be realistic.
City arsenal and newcastle will take the top three, and there’s no way on Earth that we edge our Utd / Liverpool / Chelsea.
Conte is done for me. I feel Kane will go and maybe that isn’t the worst thing in the world. Build the attack around richarlison next season, get someone in charge who is progressive, hungry and can build a team that plays football. Sort the defence out and go again next year with expectations lowered.
I’d take poch back in a heartbeat
Joe Lewis is worth $5.1 billion. He has never put a cent of his own money into the club.
ENIC run Spurs as a business and only care about profit.
We will NEVER go big in the market unless they sell up.
Things will never change under ENIC, never.

Fair points but do you think Richarlison would score enough goals or would he have a partner bought in if Kane went?
Son would.be an option but has been a bit off the boil some parts of this season

Everton built their attack around Richarlison and nearly got relegated. He’s not a goal scorer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well he is, he’s scored 10 in 10 for Brazil in 2022. Everton have been garbage the last few years.
Richarlison with Kulu and Son (if he can remember how to play) would be a great front three.
I love Kane, of course, but he deserves to have a couple of seasons at a club with genuine ambition and I feel his head is halfway gone already.

Richarlison definitely can’t be trusted to get more than 10 goals a season.
As long as it’s abroad, I’m fine with Kane going in the summer - he deserves it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I get the moving abroad part as you never want to strengthen a rival but how many clubs would be willing to part with the cash Levy would want?
In England Utd, Chelsea could match the cash required but even Levy would know he'd get strung up if he sold to them do you think?

I reckon Kane has had offers for this summer already, he looks resigned and knows our team is not up to it, he does not chase and close down like he used to, it`s like he is going through the motions. He knows he will end the season as Spurs all time goal scorer, and that will be his legacy, I won`t blame him when he leaves, he has been failed by ENIC and Levy on a grand scale.

But why not? He does it for Brazil. He’s 25 and in theory has time ahead of him to improve. He’s not had a season with a decent club. We bought him as a striker, why would we have done that if he had a 10 goal a season limit?!
Kane to Celtic makes sense. Surely even he can’t feck it up there.
Scoring for Brazil who created loads of chances per game and have almost all the ball is hardly the same as playing for Spurs.

You could well be right and he will score loads but when he's playing for Brazil he is kinda got better players around him and also plays in some games where goals aren't too tough to come by?
He is a more than decent player, no question there I'm, and obvs its imo only, bit sure he's got 20 goals a season in him, happy to stand corrected if he does

He hasn’t scored a PL goal for us yet and his record at Everton was average at best. He’s not an out and out striker, Kane scores 2 goals every 3 games guaranteed, Richarlison is nowhere near that level. If Kane goes we are in huge trouble because we are utter gash without him and there is a dearth of quality strikers out there. We always fail to replace our best players effectively. Having a striker of Kane’s quality come through the academy and be happy to stay here has been one of the biggest pieces of good fortune we’ve had as a club in decades.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
All good points, but richly hasn’t had the chance yet with us as a first choice striker. When he’s played it’s mostly been out wide. I can’t help thinking that it would be different if he was given the opportunity.
I’m not suggesting we’d be better without Kane - of course not - but something has to change and he deserves better. Maybe a chance to refresh the team with a different approach would benefit us. Which I also think needs a change of manager. It’s not working for Conte, not saying it’s his fault, but it all feels too much like the Jose seasons.
For me the difference between Conte and Jose is that first 6 months - Conte proved he could get a tune out of this rabble and got us to the CL - then we only half backed him in the summer.
For once the owners just need to grow a pair and spend the £100m to get this club competitive.
Or sack Conte tomorrow and get someone who can make things happen with the existing squad.
All I ask for is done faaaacking leadership and direction from our owners - am I asking too much?
Son needs to find form. Not sure if Contes system has just sucked the will out of him but spurs need him back asap.
Son, kulu and richarlison have less goals than Núñez. Nunez has also hit the woodwork 5 times so either he is massively under rated or spurs attack need to get the act together. Kane has carried the team for goals, in attack.

After 16 games we had scored the most goals we ever have at this stage in the Prem era. Overall I don’t believe the issue is attacking although admittedly we were blunt today.
It’s a lack of quality in the squad that’s killing us, we’re just so average

Prob is bar kane, few have come from attack.
Spurs also have like the shared 11 or 12th worse defense in the league, drawn with Villa.
If we manage to stay injury free and the likes of Kulu and Bentancur can play each game then, signings or no signings, I think we'd have a chance of top 4. We would win most games including yesterday's. How likely that is though is anyone's guess, and Conte without signings could spell a falling out.
I agree that we either keep Conte and try and back him, or pointless continuing with him.
