They need to get something sorted if it's this player or someone else. I don't see how Chelsea can spend all this money. 100 on the Argentina player from Benfica and then another 80 odd for Mudryk especially with them probably not being in the CL next season surely FFP would catch them.
Chelsea are being very mischievous. Clearly trying to make Arsenal pay more.
Depends how good he really is but it's likely we could sort two decent players for that price

They will just sell their kids they never use for 30mil each.
This is going to be another Vlahovic transfer saga...
Joao Felix is 20m loan fee plus 250k a week for 6 months.
That's more reckless than buying one of the biggest talents coming through in Europe for 80m
Felix left out of the squad for tonight's game.. something is fishy
Is he not a left winger? It sounds crazy to pay anything like that when you have Martinelli and Smith Rowe to come back.

Felix is seriously overrated
Felix isn't overrated. He's a top player that has suffered under a defensive-minded manager and has had his confidence knocked as a result.
In a team that thrives on positional rotations, playing between the lines, dominating the ball and creates chances through the middle and out wide, he would look like the player people expected him to be.
Sure it's a risk, but it's a risk I'd take if Atletico are willing to slightly reduce their financial demands.
I've read that if Chelsea sign Enzo Fernandes, they won't have enough money to sign Mudryk. I don't know if that's true or not, but my feeling is a lot of this will come down to how desperately Mudryk wants to join us. If he's adamant it's Arsenal and no-one else, it doesn't matter what Chelsea offer and Shakhtar will be forced to play ball.
We absolutely should not be paying £85m for him though. Our first two offers were more than fair.
We are going to drag this out until deadline day.
We need signings in ASAP
The transfer window has only opened very recently Castor, so I wouldn't be at panic stations just yet...
Totally unlike you to worry about the worst case scenario
We could bring back Balogun
Maybe we should go for Tielemans as well

If we're Juventus in this scenario then yeah maybe
Mudryk will get done for about €77 million(€62 million up front) . Chelsea are just wasting their time, He only wants Arsenal.
Besides imagine going to a club only recently owned by an oligarch connected to a monster butchering the Ukrainian people. That will not happen !
‘Go for Joao Felix if we can’
Doesn’t want to spend ‘unreasonable money’ on a permanent transfer…. backs spending £21m + £280 pw wages on a 5 month loan move 🤔

The €21m euros for Felix were inclusive of his wages. But yes, at this price, I wouldn't do it either. However, as he's not been turning up to training and has fallen out with Simeone, Atletico will likely be forced to reduce their financial demands. We should absolutely be all over this assuming the figures come down.
Find it strange that a Ukrainian club is willing to do business with a club built on Russian money.
If i was a Ukrainian club i wouldnt be caught dead dealing with Chelsea.
Felix just looks weak and flimsy everytime i see him, surely he would get eaten up in the PL.
Hes more of an AM anyway. We need a striker or WF.
"£85m for a 21 year old winger from the Ukrainian league isn't reasonable."

I agree, it's ridiculous, but even though Chelsea might pay it I'm not convinced Mudryk wants to go there so it's going to be interesting.

How long would a player coming from abroad take to adjust to the premier league without a pre-season?

Depends on the player. Diaz and Kulusevski settled straight away last year
